The X integration connects your brand's X account to Medialake. It syncs your account's own posts and ingests the images and videos behind them as media files, each linked to the post it appeared in. Everything is read-only: Medialake never posts, likes, reposts, or changes anything on your account.

What it syncs

The connected account's own posts (replies and reposts excluded) and the media attached to them — photos and videos ingested as files with their thumbnails and the post context (link, text, date) they belong to.

  1. Authentication — the permissions we request, who should connect, and how to revoke access

  2. Data Mapping — the objects we sync and the exact fields we read
