Step 1: Apply for Basic Access
If you already have Basic Access, go to Step 3.
Go to the API Centre on the Google Ads page.
Click on the 'Access Level' drop-down and click the 'Apply for Basic Access' link.
Step 2: Filling out the Basic Access Application Form
A form titled 'Google Ads API Basic Access Application' will appear on another tab. Fill in the form as follows:

Please provide the Google Ads manager account (MCC) ID associated with your developer token.Your Google Ads manager account (MCC) ID is found on the top right corner when you sign in to the Google Ads user interface. Example: 123-456-7890.

Please provide the URL for your company's primary website.

Design documentation of your tool (must be in .pdf, .doc or .rtf file formats only)
Attach the following file: Google Ads Integration API.pdf.
Who will have access to the Google Ads API tool you are creating?Select 'Both internal and external users'.
Do you plan to use your Google Ads API token with a tool developed by someone else?
Select 'Yes' and put 'medialake.ai' as the URL of the tool.
Which Google Ads campaign types does your tool support?Put 'Search, Display, Performance Max, Video, App, Discovery'.
Which of the following Google Ads capabilities does your tool provide?Select 'Reporting'.
I acknowledge that all the information above is accurate.Tick the box.
I accept the Terms and Conditions and acknowledge that my information will be used in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy.
Tick the box.
Click 'Submit', you should be given Basic Access within a few days.
Step 3: Finding Developer Token, Manager ID, and Targeted Customer ID
Once you have Basic Access, you should see your Developer Token at the top of the API Centre page.
Your Manager ID is found on the top right corner when you sign in to Google Ads with your manager account.
You can find the Targeted Customer ID by going to the Performance page. Here, you will find a list of your accounts. Beside the account you want to connect, you will see the Target Customer ID, in the same format as the Manager ID.
