Video Guide:

Step 1: Accessing Your Profile

Setting up your user profile is quick and easy. First of all, navigate to the User section. This can be accessed by clicking on your user icon, highlighted below.

Clicking on that icon will reveal the options seen in the image below. Click on Account and then Settings. The Settings section is divided into 4 areas; General, Security, Notifications and Teams.

Step 2: Navigating Your Profile Page

2.1 General

This will bring up the profile page where you will see options to amend your username or email address and upload a profile photo if you wish.

Scroll down on the page and you will see an area where you can create a new password for your account after providing your previous password.

Further down in the General section, you will find the option to change the language that Medialake is presented in as well as the ability to delete your account, should this be necessary.

2.2 Security

Users can also set up Two Factor Authentication to increase account security.

Underneath you will see the option to forcefully log your account out of any active sessions open on other browsers.

2.3 Notifications

In the Notifications section you have the option to amend the scenarios in which the system will send you a message. Notifications can be sent as either an email, an in-app message or both. They can also be turned off entirely if required.

The Notifications are divided into General, Team and User areas.

2.4 Teams

In the Teams section, you can create a new team or amend the teams that you are already a member of.
