Medialake's Supported File Types for Sync and Upload

The Medialake platform makes use of Amazon Web Services' Elemental MediaConvert, a file-based transcoding service within AWS, in order to offer our users a multitude of benefits.

With MediaConvert, we can easily convert input video files into suitable file formats for various devices and platforms, however, there is a limited number of file formats supported by the AWS platform, with each file format potentially also having a limited set of codecs that can be used in combination with it.

While we aim to support all image formats, some video formats, most notably RAW file formats, are unable to be processed by our website.

The following tables provides a list of the supported images and video files that we accept, along with a table of file formats and are not accepted.
