What is Object Recognition

The object recognition viewer in the AI section allows you to explore all of the objects detected in your asset by Medialake.

This feature not only reports on objects like bike and car, but also reports on other object types that may appear in your asset such as city (setting), smile (details), blonde (hair color) and more!

It is worth noting that assets are searchable by the objects recognized within them.

Top Object Recognition

This refers to the top 5 objects that appeared most frequently in your asset.

By clicking on one of these object labels, their locations within the asset's timeline will be displayed so that you can jump directly to where they appear.

All Objects Found

This section displays all of the objects within your asset that have been identified by Medialake.

By clicking on one of these object labels, their locations within the asset's timeline will be displayed so that you can jump directly to where they appear. You can also search for specific tags using the search bar.

Adding and Removing Tags

You are also able to add custom tags to your assets on Medialake. Clicking on the plus icon will allow you to choose a position on the asset timeline to add your custom tag. Once you have chosen, click 'Add Tag'. A window will appear where you can type the name of your new tag.

Click 'Done' to add the new tag.

To delete tags, simply click on the pencil icon. Simply click on all the tags you would like to delete and then click the 'Remove' button.

A window will appear asking you to confirm that you would like to delete these tags. If you are sure you want to remove them, click 'Remove' again.
